Explicit multiple singular periodic solutions and singular soliton solutions to KdV equation
Based on some stationary periodic solutions and stationary soliton solutions, one studies the general solution for the relative lax system, and a number of exact solutions to the Korteweg-de Vries (KdV) equation are first constructed by the known Darboux transformation, these solutions include double and triple singular periodic solutions as well as singular soliton solutions whose amplitude d...

When n ≥ 2, we show that for a non-negative solution of the Aronsson equation AH(u) = DxH(Du(x)) · Hp(Du(x)) = 0 an isolated singularity x0 is either a removable singularity or u(x) = b+CH k (x− x0)+ o(|x− x0|) ( or u(x) = b−C Ĥ k (x− x0)+ o(|x− x0|) ) for some k > 0 and b ∈ R . Here CH k and C Ĥ k are general cone functions. This generalizes the asymptotic behavior theory for infinity harmonic...

متن کاملViscosity solutions, almost everywhere solutions and explicit formulas
Consider the differential inclusion Du ∈ E in R. We exhibit an explicit solution that we call fundamental. It turns out to be also a viscosity solution, when properly defining this notion. Finally we consider a Dirichlet problem associated to the differential inclusion and we give an iterative procedure for finding a solution.
متن کاملMaximal and minimal solutions of an Aronsson equation: L∞ variational problems versus the game theory
The Dirichlet problem { ∆∞u− |Du| = 0 on Ω ⊂ R u|∂Ω = g might have many solutions, where ∆∞u = ∑ 1≤i,j≤n uxiuxjuxixj . In this paper, we prove that the maximal solution is the unique absolute minimizer for H(p, z) = 12 |p| 2 − z from calculus of variations in L∞ and the minimal solution is the continuum value function from the “tug-of-war” game. We will also characterize graphes of solutions wh...
